We’re looking for a sales gun to join the Nippy Sweetie family. Do you have a love for spirits, previous sales experience in the hospitality industry, a drive to own and grow your portfolio? We have two opportunities available, in both Sydney and Melbourne.

About the business

Nippy Sweetie Holdings Pty Ltd is an online retailer (The Whisky Company) and wholesaler of whisky and other spirits. We work with wholesale and re-seller customers through our website (The Spirits Company), online sales portal and existing customer base. Based in the south eastern suburbs of Melbourne, we are a team of passionate whisky enthusiasts with an eye for innovation in a fun and friendly working environment.

About the role

This role is responsible for new customer attraction as well as account management of existing customers. You will be responsible for the growth of financial revenue, as well as increasing the placement of our products in bars, restaurants and bottle shops throughout Victoria. This is a part time casual role that will involve generating new customers through sales calls and customer visits, as well as maintaining and retaining excellent relationships with our existing customer lists.

You will also be required to organise and run tasting events meaning that work will be conducted outside of ordinary business hours.

Skills and experience

In order to be successful in this role you will have previous experience in a similar sales role. Ideally within a retail or FMCG environment.

Our ideal candidate will also have;

  • A background in hospitality, bars or restaurants
  • An RSA certificate
  • Experience with Excel, and/or other sales systems
  • Experience using Mailchimp
  • Extensive B2B sales experience
  • A self starter, used to working in an autonomous role

You will have previous experience working with sales targets and KPI’s and an excellent history of customer service.

You will be required make customer visits, so a car and drivers licence are also essential.

This is a casual role, with part time hours to suit your availability.
